The Swanson Framing Wizard®, the only portable framing tool for 16” and 12” on center layout, is a must for every toolbox. Constructed of high quality aluminum, anodized in blue and permanently laser etched for high visibility, precision accuracy and durability. The Framing Wizard instruction book explains its many uses and includes directions for marking common and hip/valley and finding pitches and angles.

Many Framing and Rafter squares become out of square when dropped or with heavy use and can not be readjusted accurately. The Framing Wizard addresses this problem with its adjustable screw and included allen wrench. This feature allows the Framing Wizard to be quickly readjusted back to its original 90° with the allen wrench included.

The “Layout Tab” at the end of the Framing Wizard helps determine the spacing (16” and 12” inches on center) between studs for wall construction. This makes it possible to layout or design perfect spacing or mark the needed dimensions before a wall is constructed.
